Call Before You DigTennessee One Call State law requires you to call to locate utility lines before you dig a hole or trench anywhere in Tennessee. Tennessee One Call will locate all utility lines for you including electric, gas, phone, etc. It is better to call before you dig, as you may not be able to call after you dig! By the way, we have heard BellSouth will bill you a minimum of $15,000.00 if you cut one of their underground phone cables. You also will not be real popular with the neighbors who don't have phone service for two days while the cable is being spliced!
